Dustcon Solutions is short for Dust Consulting Solution

Dustcon Solutions specializes in dust explosions, their principle objective is to conduct Dust Hazard Analysis in accordance with the requirements of NFPA 652, Standard on the Fundamentals of Combustible Dust. The first step toward ensuring safety from dust hazards for any type of dust and for any industry is to understand three things: Is there a hazard? Where is the hazard? And what can be done about it? A comprehensive DHA provides the answers to these fundamental questions. Dustcon Solutions provides DHA services for all industries handling combustible dust.

The 2019 Edition of NFPA 652 Standard requires that a DHA be completed by September 7, 2020 while other industry specific standards may have different required completion dates. This retroactive requirement is applicable to all plants handling combustible particulate solids, irrespective of industry segment or plant size. Recognizing that many plant owners/operators are not familiar with the hazards inherent with combustible dust, Dustcon Solutions was formed to help accomplish this first and most important step toward achieving dust explosion safety.

Dustcon Solutions also offers an array of services to assist clients handling combustible dust. These other services include Dust Testing, Training Programs, Vessel Strength (Pred) Analysis, Electrical Classification Assessments, and Incident Investigation.

Dustcon Solutions is an Engineering & Safety Consulting Firm based out of West Palm Beach, FL.
